TreeBot Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of TreeBot (the "Bot"), a Discord bot operated by Dynahawk LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By using TreeBot, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Bot.

1. Overview

  • TreeBot is a bot designed for use within Discord, primarily within the EntExchange Discord server.
  • These Terms govern all interactions with TreeBot, including its commands, notifications, and any data processing.
  • TreeBot operates under Discord’s Terms of Service (https://discord.com/terms) and Privacy Policy (https://discord.com/privacy).
  • By using TreeBot, you also agree to comply with all applicable Discord rules and policies.

2. Acceptable Use

By using TreeBot, you agree:

  • To follow all Discord Terms of Service and community guidelines.
  • Not to use TreeBot for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
  • Not to exploit, abuse, or manipulate TreeBot’s features or commands.
  • Not to attempt to hack, modify, or interfere with TreeBot’s operations.
  • Not to spam commands, flood servers, or disrupt its intended use.
  • That any misuse of TreeBot may result in access restrictions or bans.

We reserve the right to disable or restrict access to TreeBot for users or servers violating these rules.

3. Features & Service Availability

  • TreeBot offers various automated functions, including notifications, seller ratings, moderation assistance, and general marketplace tools.
  • We reserve the right to add, modify, or remove features at any time without notice.
  • TreeBot is provided "as is" and "as available", with no guarantees of uptime, reliability, or specific functionality.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and we are not liable for any disruptions, bugs, or unintended behavior.

4. User Data & Privacy

TreeBot may collect limited user data as described in the TreeBot Privacy Policy. By using the Bot, you acknowledge that:

  • TreeBot does not sell or share user data for advertising purposes.
  • Data collected (such as Discord user ID, bot interactions, and preferences) is used only to operate the bot.
  • If you request data removal, you can contact us at contact@entexchange.org or use a designated command (if available).
  • If you delete your Discord account, TreeBot may no longer be able to associate stored data with you, but this does not automatically delete stored logs.
  • Any third-party services that interact with TreeBot (e.g., Discord’s API) are subject to their own policies.

5. User-Generated Content & Interactions

  • If TreeBot allows user-generated content (such as marketplace listings, seller ratings, or chat commands), you retain ownership of your content, but grant us the right to store and display it.
  • We are not responsible for user-generated content, including false, misleading, or inappropriate messages.
  • TreeBot may log user interactions to maintain functionality and prevent abuse.
  • We reserve the right to delete, restrict, or moderate content processed by TreeBot if necessary.

6. Third-Party Services & Integrations

TreeBot operates within Discord but may integrate with third-party services for functionality.

  • We do not control Discord’s services and are not responsible for their reliability, privacy, or security.
  • External links or commands may redirect to third-party sites, which are subject to their own terms and policies.
  • If TreeBot relies on external databases, analytics, or integrations, those services may have separate privacy policies and data practices.

7. Prohibited Uses

TreeBot must not be used for:

  • Illegal activities, including fraud, harassment, or data scraping.
  • Hate speech, discrimination, or threats against any individual or group.
  • Spam, advertising, or self-promotion without authorization.
  • Abuse of automation tools to exploit or manipulate server functions.
  • Attempting to disrupt TreeBot’s services or security.

Violating these rules may result in a ban, restrictions, or legal action where applicable.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

  • TreeBot is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, bug-free operation, or compatibility with all Discord servers.
  • We are not liable for any data loss, message failures, or unintended actions caused by the Bot.
  • We are not responsible for user behavior, moderation actions, or disputes arising from TreeBot’s functionality.
  • In no event shall Dynahawk LLC, its developers, or affiliates be liable for damages arising from the use or inability to use TreeBot.

9. Termination & Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to TreeBot at any time for:

  • Violation of these Terms or Discord’s policies.
  • Abuse of bot functions, spam, or harassment.
  • Requests by Discord, server admins, or legal authorities.
  • Unforeseen technical, legal, or security issues.

Users may opt out of using TreeBot at any time by leaving the Discord server.

10. Changes to These Terms

  • We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time.
  • Updates will be posted, and continued use of TreeBot constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
  • Significant changes may be announced within the EntExchange Discord server.
