Today, we’re honored to present a truly one-of-a-kind creation: Breath Through Time. This stem isn’t just a functional tool—it’s a living, breathing artifact that carries the weight of millennia in its design. A Journey That Begins in 2020
This passion project began in late 2020 with a bold vision:
"What if you could breathe vapor through 100,000+ years of Earth's history?"
The idea was simple yet profound—to create a stem where vapor travels backward through time, starting with cutting-edge modern materials and moving through ancient, storied matter from our planet and beyond.
Dynavap’s own George caught wind of the project and generously donated one of only two OEM tips made from Titanium Damascus (also known as Timascus)—a dazzling, high-tech alloy that crowns this stem with brilliance and rarity.
Passing Through the Ages
The vapor first enters a hand-carved Damascus Steel crown—a triumph of metallurgy developed over 2,000 years ago and wielded in weapons by Vikings, Syrian warriors, and even the Knights Templar during the Crusades.
From there, it moves through a 6,000-year-old segment of Irish Bog Oak—sourced from a mighty tree that lived long before the Battle of Troy, the Pyramids of Egypt, or the legends of Gilgamesh. This ancient oak, steeped in myth and mystery, even holds a sprinkle of literal stardust, delicately embedded in the pattern of distant stars.
Into the Ice Age
Next, the vapor flows through petrified Woolly Mammoth tooth, estimated to be 11,000–14,000 years old. This relic predates the dawn of agriculture, a time when humans roamed the land as hunter-gatherers—alongside saber-toothed cats and colossal ground sloths.
Beyond Earth Itself
At the deepest point of its journey, the vapor passes through a stacked layer of meteorite iron, recovered from the American Midwest. This metal likely predates Earth itself, forged in the heart of a distant star. Etched with acid to reveal its cosmic pattern, this segment is Nature’s own Damascus Steel—a stunning testament to the age and scale of the universe.
Full Circle
To complete the journey, the final segment is made of Buffalo Horn—a naturally soft and warm material, polished smooth for comfort. It’s the perfect endcap to this timeless breath.
Craftsmanship & Legacy
This stem was shaped entirely by hand—using rasps, chisels, and files. It took six months to source all the materials, and over 45 hours to carefully craft every detail. The result is a stem that’s more than functional—it's a time capsule, a story, and a testament to what’s possible when vision meets patience.

Completing this historical set is the stand, generously donated by a beloved member of the community. It’s made from a fossilized Megalodon tooth—a remnant of the massive apex predators that ruled the oceans over 30,000 years ago. These giants could swallow a modern vehicle whole—and now, their legacy supports yours.
A Second Chance at Life
This piece was originally purchased by a collector who cherished it too much to use. At their request, it is now being offered once again to the community—ready to be loved, appreciated, and perhaps finally used as it was meant to be.
